September was a strong month!

First off, Team Lean has lost in the neighborhood of 60 lbs since the start of the 90 Day Challenge!  Very proud of everyone’s consistency and willingness to take time out of the weekend to meet and weigh in!

And now some shout-outs:

Linsey hit a big weight-loss milestone that was featured on the national LifeTime Fitness Facebook page !

 

Mame not only hit her weight-loss goal, but also won the 10k-A-Day Step challenge!

Tracy showed up with 3 feats of strength: a 24kg (53lbs) kettlebell one-arm military press, a 225lb deadlift, and a 120lb bench press!

Lauren hit her deadlift goal of 155lbs on her birthday! Here she is celebrating with some swings afterwards….

 

Kristina hit a new deadlift personal record with 215 lbs !

 

 

My training has been pretty simple – double kettlebell complexes and Tai Chi.  The kettlebell routines have been tough but keep some sanity in my schedule!  Getting into Tai Chi also lead me to the book The Art of Learning –  a cool story about a chess prodigy turned martial arts champion.
